Payments to the CNB (CNBSign module)

Electronic file signing for the CNB easily, securely and according to the rules

Do you want to send batch files to the Czech National Bank error-free and efficiently?

The CNBSign module is for you. It offers AVENSIO SW users simple electronic signing of files according to the valid CNB requirements - with one or two certificates.

The CNBSign module is the ideal solution for organizations that want to meet the technical requirements of the Czech National Bank efficiently, securely and directly from the AVENSIO SW environment.

What does the module enable?

  • Sign the batch file with a system and personal certificate according to the CNB requirements
  • Work with several signing variants (DerivationType 6.0, 6.1, 6.2)
  • Manage personal and system certificates directly in the AVENSIO SW database
  • Automatically require a password every time a certificate is used
  • Allow each user to have their own personal certificate

Variants of signing

The module supports all three currently used scenarios as defined by the CNB:
Option DerivationType Method of signing
FS5 6.0 Without using a stored certificate - the certificate is manually loaded each time it is signed
FS5_var1 6.1 Sign using a system certificate stored in the database
FS5_var2 6.2 Double signature - with system and personal certificate

Information on certificates

Storing certificates

  • Personal certificates
    • They are uploaded in the User Edit window
    • The certificate is linked to a specific user
    • Each user can have their own certificate
  • System certificate
    • Loaded in Edit subject data
    • Used for bulk signing or in the FS5_var1 variant

Format of certificates

  • Certificates must be in PFX format (PKCS#12)
  • Must contain a private key
  • Recommended practice: export from Windows certificate store
  • Remark:
    • The CNBSign module does not support reading a certificate from a smart card.
      If you have a certificate on a smart card, you can use an external signature creation program instead - in this case, the CNBSign module is not needed.
