As of 1 July 2023, the average price of 1 litre of diesel fuel for the purpose of granting travel allowances will be changed to "CZK 34.40".
Travel allowances from 1 July 2023
On 23 June 2023, a decree was published in the Collection of Laws No. 191/2023 Coll., amending Decree No 467/2022 Coll., on changing the rate of basic compensation for the use of road motor vehicles and meals and on determining the average price of fuel for the purposes of the provision of travel allowances for 2023.
With effect from from 1 July 2023 there has been a change in the average fuel price, specifically the average price per 1 litre of diesel fuel from the amount of "44,10 CZK" to the amount of "34,40 Kč" for the purposes of travel allowances.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs proceeded to an extraordinary modification of the decree based on data from the Czech Statistical Office for April 2023, when the to reduce the price diesel fuel by more than 20 % compared to the amount specified in Decree No 467/2022 Coll.
