Attendance allowance during the autumn holidays and director's leave

In today's blog article, we will explain what is the situation with the entitlement to sick pay in connection with the upcoming autumn holidays or director's leave.

There is no entitlement to nursing allowance for days of the headmaster's leave or holidays, as this arises when the employee has to care for a healthy child under 10 years of age because the school or childcare facility has been closed by order of the competent authority (due to an accident, epidemic or other unforeseen event).

Director's leave or school holidays do not preclude entitlement to nursing allowance only if it is claimed by an employee who cannot work because he/she is caring for a sick child (or a child who has been ordered to undergo an individual quarantine) under the age of 10, or another member of the household who needs to be cared for by another person.
