With the beginning of January, the period when school organizations will compile the statistical statement P 1-04 has come again.
P 1-04 is a calculation statistical report on staff and payroll in regional education, which means that in January 2024 the reporting period will be January to December 2023.
Who reports P 1-04 statistics?
Statistical statement P 1-04 is compiled by schools and educational establishments in regional education established by the Ministry of Education, a region, a municipality or a voluntary association of municipalities, registered churches and religious societies, other legal or natural persons registered in the register of schools and educational establishments whose activities are carried out by the same legal person.
Date and method of sending the statistical statement P 1-04
The organisation sends the statistical report P 1-04 no later than the 15th of the calendar month, following the end of the calendar quarter, i.e. Currently is the cut-off date for sending the statistical statement P 1-04 Monday, January 15, 2024.
The statement is sent in electronic form to https://sberdat.uiv.cz/login. The organisation that sends the statistical report also sends a data extract to the processing point, which is signed by the director and stamped by the organisation.
Processing sites
For regional, private and religious organisations, the processing point is Department of Education of the Regional Office, in Prague Department of Education, Youth and Sport of the City Hall Prague. For organisations established by a municipality or voluntary association of municipalities, the processing point is Department of Education of the municipality with extended competence. For organisations established by the Ministry of Education, the processing point is Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
The processing sites provide both technical and methodological assistance to the organisations.
Data reporting
The organisation compiling the P 1-04 statistics shall break down the employees and their wages, salaries and other payments for work performed by activity codes, they perform, according to the proportion of their work in the type of activity concerned, or by number of pupils the type of activity.
For teaching staff, the distribution of time must be based on the number of hours direct teaching activities.
Data on average number of employees shall be expressed in units to the nearest 4 decimal places. Data on wages, salaries and other payments for the work carried out shall be stated in thousands of CZK to the nearest 3 decimal places.
Wages do not include wage or salary compensation for the duration of temporary incapacity for work or quarantine paid by the employer.
The data in the P 1-04 statistical statement must agree with the organisation's accounts and the data must not differ from the ISP statistical statement.
The amounts reimbursed are included in the P 1-04 statement by the employer making the reimbursement.
Correction of statement P 1-04
If you would be correcting the report after it has been sent, you must to give advance notice of this fact To your to the processing site and resubmit the entire report after corrections and checks have been made.
Some partial errors in the statement can be completed with a comment, some serious errors need to be corrected and the statement resubmitted.

- Correctly set up the device (types of activity) and have these stored at all workplaces where employees are assigned
- Properly set up functions used by employees
- Save values needed for statistics in the Subject Data Directory
