With effect from from 30.7.2020 On the basis of the amendment to the Labour Code by Act No.285/2020 Coll., the provisions of Section 313(1) concerning the issuance of employment certificates, i.e. a credit slip in the event of termination of a work performance agreement. The employer will now be obliged to issue a credit note to an employee working under a work performance agreement. only if the agreement was based on participation in sickness insurance pursuant to Section 7a of Act No. 187/2006 Coll., on Sickness Insurance, and furthermore, if the remuneration from this LSA was enforcement or execution by deduction from wages. This should reduce the administrative burden on employers.

The obligation to issue a credit note upon termination of an employment relationship or employment agreement remains unchanged after the amendment to the Labour Code, i.e. the employer will always issue a credit note, regardless of whether such employment relationships were subject to sickness insurance or whether they were subject to enforcement deductions.
